President Obama and Retired Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen Hesitant Concerning Pressure Readings
President Obama’s
man in charge of oil spill operations, retired Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen, has reported pressure readings are not rising as high as expected. This is disturbing news because this could mean there is another oil leak somewhere. On the positive side the readings could also mean that the oil well is starting to dry up after months of leakage.
Gradual Higher Pressure Readings
The pressure readings show a gradual increase which is a positive sign considering a decrease could spell disaster. Nevertheless, the well head is thought to be damaged and methane build-up is a potentially explosive catastrophe. BP didn’t help matters by pouring tons of dispersants in the well to mix with the methane.
President Obama and retired Coast Guard Admiral Thad Allen are warning the public not to celebrate to soon – and for good reason. The oil spill is a mile below the Gulf of Mexico’s surface resulting in extreme pressures. GOD help us.
BP Containment Cap Holding Oil Back from Further Leakage
The BP Containment Cap
is still holding back the oil after a brief scare of leakage. BP is monitoring the pressure to make sure it stays within a certain high level. If the pressure drops too much this means oil is leaking somewhere and could spell disaster yet again.
BP Engineers
have done a good job with their valves and containment cap a mile deep under the Gulf of Mexico’s surface. This doesn’t excuse the incompetence of BP’s CEO Tony Hayward or the other decision makers who ignored safety measures and turned down competent help for containing the oil – along with President Obama. The problem is still not out of the woods because the BP well bore is damaged.
Deepwater Horizon Explosion
The ruptured pipes from the Deepwater Horizon explosion, Top Kill and other failed fixes have caused much concern about a permanent solution. BP’s relief wells are the next step after the containment cap in finding a positive solution to the oil spill disaster – if the oil holds under the BP containment cap. So far, so good.
Oil Companies Abandon Over 27,000 Gas and Oil Wells
Oil companies have abandoned over 27,000 gas and oil wells in the Gulf of Mexico according to a recent study. Shocking. As if the news wasn’t bad enough already. To make matters worse, the Federal Government warned the greedy oil companies about the danger of abandoned wells leaking but it didn’t matter. The warnings were ignored and the Fed did not care enough to regulate the oil companies behavior.
Oil Wells Abandoned in the Gulf of Mexico
This number would be horrible if it included all the waters in the world. But more than 27,000 in just the Gulf of Mexico alone? Out of the more than 27,000 wells, over 1,000 have been left to rot or are unfinished for over 10 years. The news gets worse again. Some of the 1,000 are from the 1940’s, 1950’s and 1960’s.
Gulf of Mexico Has Untold Number Of Leaking Oil Wells
So, BP is not the only bad boy. I’ll never forget a recent interview Saun Hannity had with the CEO of Shell Oil Company. The Shell Oil CEO actually said critically that because people did not want to see oil rigs off the shores ruining their “pristine view”, it forced the oil companies to go farther out to drill which made it more of a risk. You see, it’s our fault.
My wife and I love Destin, Florida and because we don’t want to see oil rigs from the beautiful beaches -that’s why we have environmental, wildlife and people destroying damage. Disgusting. And good old Saun didn’t disagree with him. He was quite accomodating to big Shell Oil just like he is to BP PLC, saying they have been there from day one.
Isn’t it sad that unless the money hungry oil companies are made to behave they will not. Even if it is for the good of mankind, the environment and wildlife. Why? Greed. They can make billions and billions of dollars but don’t want to spend a small portion of their profits for the safety of mankind and the environment.
Maybe it is time we abandon the oil companies like they abandoned the gas and oil wells.

A couple who lived in Florida have moved to Kentucky leaving two homes because of the methane gas explosion threat. I talked with them on the phone and then met them personally on Thursday, July 1st. Patrick and Kristin are very familiar with the horrifying developments of the BP oil spill catastrophe.
Oil Spill and Pressure on the Well Head
What was of particular disturbing interest in our conversation was that Patrick said he used to study pressurization of certain systems and said there was no way the well head could hold 5000 feet below the waters surface. Patrick and Kristin also said they put into action their belief that the BP well head would explode and therefore become an unprecedented catastrophe. People in Florida should at least be aware of the potential threat of a methane gas explosion. Thanks BP.

Cracks are being formed on the bottom of the ocean floor which scientists fear are from the build up of methane gas. As the methane gas mixes with the chemical properties of the oil a very dangerous situation could be building up which is beyond comprehension. Add to this the chemical dispersants that the Environmental Protection Agency allowed BP to use in certain numbers, but then gave a stern warning about, and there could be a very toxic mix with the methane gas.
BP PLC Drilling For Oil Over Methane Gas
When New Orleans was warned about what a major hurricane could do many people had heard it so much they didn’t think it would happen. This is easy to do. We usually feel safe in familiar surroundings. Don’t be fooled. Methane gas is what has killed coal miners for years and the build up of methane with the massive amounts of oil is a potential crisis so awful it defies description. I am a positive person but refuse to ignore the facts. Please search out the facts yourself and let us pray that GOD will have mercy on us.
President Obama and BP Are Aware Of Methane Gas Explosion Possibility
President Obama and BP are well aware of the possible impending disaster. They are trying to keep you in the dark about it because it is potentially so bad. But they have a responsibility to warn people. Even though people were warned about Hurricane Katrina, because the warning wasn’t sooner, people were and still are infuriated. Can you imagine BP and Obama not giving ANY warning at all? Even if the chances are small people are suppose to be given a chance to escape to safety just like with a tornado warning.
What kind of President do we have? What kind of company is BP? As catastrophic as a methane gas explosion. At least we have some knowledgable scientists warning us about a possible oil, methane gas explosion and tsunami. I said POSSIBLE.
Kevin Costner Oil-Water Separating Machine Finally Ordered By BP
For years, the actor Kevin Costner, has been trying to get oil companies like BP to take a look at his oil separating machine. Costner is an environmental activist who sincerely cares about the awful situation in the gulf coast.
He was totally ignored because companies like BP did not want to spend the money on preventative measures on something that might not happen. This is a fact – plain and simple. The solution was offered to Federal authorities and big shot, big greed oil companies and turned down.
Oil-Water Separator Solution
As seen in this video, Kevin Costner offered this oil-water separator solution May 17, 2010 to BP. Even though the machine takes in an amazing 200 gallons per minute and separates an astounding 99% of the oil from the water, BP refused the solution until now. Sure it is good BP ordered 32 of the machines. But, what if BP would have been using them for over a month now and ordered full production of as many as could be made?
My Oil Spill Clean Up Solution For The Gulf Of Mexico
One thing I love about the internet is the proof you have with your post and statements. Everytime you make a post it is automatically given a date. This serves as undisputable proof that you said something or came up with an idea on a particular date. Although many of my ideas were before this date but not posted until this date.
Well, in my oil spill clean up plan (June 8th post or PLANS link above) is the emphasis of taking Kevin Costner’s oil-water separating machine and using it IMMEDIATELY. Utilizing Costner’s machines 24/7 for more than a month ahead of incompetent BP would have meant a lot less oil on the gulf shores.
President Obama and BP Neglect Solution
It is very sad that President Obama and BP, who both said they were doing everything they could to solve the oil spill problem, neglected an obvious solution. Yes, more needs to be done. But when you have the power and authority to get 200 gallons of oil per minute out of the Gulf of Mexico and don’t do it – disgraceful.
Keep up the good work President Obama and BP. And a real THANK YOU to Kevin Costner.
BP Deepwater Horizon Rig Explosion Causing Oil Spill Could Be More Catastrophic
BP has never been totally truthful about the Deepwater Horizon rig explosion’s catastrophic capabilities. Hopefully, the doomsday part of this video does not take place. However, since BP and President Obama have not been responsible about facts concerning the oil spill it is hard to trust them. Much more than the Gulf Coast could become an environmental catastrophy.
BP and President Obama make a toxic team. The Gulf of Mexico oil spill clean up effort by the Federal Government and BP stinks to high heaven. This is not politics. This is people’s livelihoods, the environment, fish and wildlife – and much more. Why procrastinate when so much is at stake? Answers were needed before the oil reached the gulf coast and they were not given. This is a fact.
Governor Jindal has been pleading for help with actual solutions and has been turned away. And now even the Alabama Governor had to go out on his own to get something done. BP and President Obama make a toxic team. How about Governor Jindal and the other Gulf State Governors heading the effort? I guarantee you a lot more would be accomplished – in lightning speed.
Chevron Oil has oil spill in Red Butte Creek, Utah
Now Chevron Oil has an oil spill. Oil drenched ducks and other feather creatures as an oil pipe of Chevron Oil broke. The oil spill was in Red Butte Creek with thousands of gallons of oil flowing. It appears Chevron acted quickly and has contained the spill but with so many gallons leaking into a creek the damage could last for some time.
There is something so horrible about oil spilling on pristine places of nature that even extensive cleanup efforts are rarely enough to bring back the original nature soon. The time has come for alternative energy sources to replace gas in vehicles at an accelerating rate. Of course, there are many products made from oil but reducing our need for gas in automobiles will drastically reduce our need to drill for oil.
