Louisiana Governor Jindal Should Have Headed Gulf Coast Oil Spill Response

Louisiana Governor Jindal Had Foresight of Oil Spill Disaster

Louisiana Governor Jindal would be a great person to be in charge of the Gulf Coast oil spill response. He had the foresight to know fast, drastic preparations had to be made BEFORE the oil hit the gulf coast states. It is a sad state of affairs that so many people knew what to do except for the main ones in charge.

What is beyond comprehension and common sense is that BP and President Obama were even warned about the drastic measures that had to be taken – and they still neglected to act accordingly. The evidence is coming out more and more now. Countries with technologically advanced equipment turned down by Obama. Containment booms miles long turned down by BP. What a tragedy.

President Obama will fool a lot of people who are gullible and taken in by his fancy speech. He is somewhat clever at having a way out. He will say he didn’t turn away help because he could call them back later if he needed them. So technically speaking, maybe he didn’t say no. Well, this is still a no when expediency was of the utmost importance. Procrastination ruined people’s livelihoods, destroyed fish and wildlife, and part of America’s once pristine environment.

Pitiful.

Destin, Florida is some of my families favorite vacation spots. I hope the oil spill doesn’t ruin this beautiful area of the gulf coast.
