Happy New Year! Well, the weather is freezing across the country in the United States. The winter storm blast is so far reaching it laughs at the thought of global warming. Climate change is happening alright. The climate has abruptly shifted to global freezing and The Weather Channel is predicting a L O N G cold winter blast. Even a sea turtle rehab center in North Carolina reported that more sea turtles are having to be rescued this year than the past several years because of cold weather.
I’m currently writing this in an airport waiting for my air flight which has been delayed because of the weather. This delay is taking place in many states because of the snow and cold. Global warming? Save it. Put your hard fought efforts into recycling, improving the environment or some other cause that you have some ground to stand on. There is over four feet of snow in many areas of New York. Fulton, New york’s snow started on December 28, 2009 and it has snowed for 10 days straight with over fifty four inches!
